Emotional Rollercoaster Chronicles
Hi Chunks,
What a day!
(Navigating the Peaks and Valleys of
Life's Unpredictable Journey)
Reality check – people justify their
pathetic behavior, and it's hitting me hard. Emotions seem to lead me into
worse situations every time. We all ride the rollercoaster of emotions,
experiencing highs and lows. My emotions often lead me into worse
situations.. Sometimes, I'm filled with excitement and thrilled at the idea of
a new start. After the initial excitement, my mind suddenly feels dull.
How can we determine the quality of life?
It relies on emotions, which can make life miserable or truly magical. Our emotions paint all our experiences; when we feel good, everything seems positive and light. My energy levels are higher, and possibilities seem limitless. I don’t know why we were never taught how to tackle emotions.
I wonder if there is any instruction manual to teach me how to better manage my
emotions. Though I haven't found one, I doubt one even exists. Have you?
Reprogramming really helps to feel or experience more positive emotions
and see how our beliefs impinge upon emotions.
With time, survival mechanisms have changed. All the generations before us had to survive, and their brains functioned for survival. People are really biased towards negative emotions; it literally creates an over-dramatization of events. What if? Most people think the brain's primary job is to make you happy. We can take control of our and shape them to our reality.
Being delulu is not the only solulu(you know Gen-Z escape mantra).
Well, yes and no. Without dopamine, our species would likely be extinct by now. It’s a pretty good thing, right? The effect of social media literally sucks as much time as possible out of your life and sells a version of happiness that can make us unhappy. We don’t need all the dopamine rush; it can be anything that can create real addictions. Are you addicted to something? Yes, just as happy (or unhappy).
Spoiler alert: you'll revert to the same old routine.
Ever set a goal, achieved it, and thought you'd be happy? Ever chased a goal, nailed it, and expected pure bliss? Well, surprise, surprise –that "happily ever after" tale? It's a myth. Your mind, ever the trickster, pulls off hedonic adaptation with finesse, seamlessly adjusting to new situations. Life happens; there's no Ctrl+Z shortcut.
By now, you've got to know how we, as humans, dwell in negative emotions and create a whole drama around it.
